What a fun week! Wednesday night was our church's Trunk or Treat. Friday night I let Whitney carve our pumpkin and then we toasted the seeds. Saturday was so much fun. We spent the morning at my parents where we ate brunch (breakfast burritos, raspberry/cream cheese french toast, donuts and cider). Next we let the kids bob for apples (a couple of the big kids tried it too) and then we enjoyed a family competition where one adult carved a pumpkin blindfolded while the other family members gave directions.
Although we have always enjoyed our holidays together - we are all especially aware that the big move to North Carolina is coming soon and we should really hold onto these fun moments with our family living close.
