Have you ever felt like you wanted to just burst with praise? There are many days where we continue in our daily routine, just trusting and waiting on God to give us answers. Then there is today - I got 2 pieces of great news today:
1) In a follow up appointment with my surgeon, he informed us that the mass in my neck was NOT cancer and that my neck is healing as it should. God is awesome regardless of the results of the mass in my neck, but I am so relieved and grateful. My girls have recently shown emotion related to their concern for me, and I know that when my dad (who works at EVA as athletic dir.) told them the news during school - their spirits were lifted. TJ and I also had a huge smile as we got on the elevator at the hospital, heading home with our good news. THANK YOU, LORD!!
2) My sister Jenny and her husband Johnny received news today that their closing details are coming together and they will close on their new home November 6th!! Their children are excited too, and I know their parents will assure them that this is a gift from God as part of His plan for their lives.
In keeping with the fact that I love to post pictures.....I am going to post a picture of me with my husband TJ (who has so graciously taken care of me and our home while I've been recovering) and of me with each of my girls. The time of uncertainty regarding my health made me stop and think once again how precious my time is with all of those I love....but these 3 in particular:

That is awesome, Wendy! Wow- what a scary thing. We know God is in control- but when something like that happens we just want to be OK for our husband & kids. Thank the Lord you are OK!
