September Highlights

Well, since I'm only blogging about once a month now (life gets so busy!), I thought I would post a few picture highlights from the month of September.

Labor Day weekend held tons of fun for the 7 grandkids as my parents hosted "Camp Nana Treasures" which included a treasure hunt that took them to some pretty cool Jacksonville landmarks. In the end, they discovered that God, His Word and the people He created are the most valuable treasures.

TJ and I enjoy any chance we get to go out on a date together. The two pictures below were taken on a very special date where we celebrated the finale of a 40 day fast. My husband has been pursuing God in a very passionate way, and I wanted to treat him to a special night out. I was so excited about the steak and shrimp that I just had to take a picture!

This is a picture of Whitney and her friend Madison making 'monkey bread' for a brunch we recently enjoyed.
Here we have Whitney and Ava enjoying some pink lemonade and a magazine in our backyard. School has been in session for awhile, but they still love the idea of lazy summer days. =)
We look forward to what the rest of this year holds as we wait on the Lord in several areas. We are thankful for the love and support of our friends and family!
