Memorial Day Weekend 2009

We were thankful for the opportunity to spend time with friends and family over the long weekend. Friday night and Saturday, we spent time at a lake house with the Davis family. Dacey and Whitney enjoyed their first tubing experience with their good friends, Alivia and Caroline. It was also fun watching them go in circles in a paddle boat and 'fish' for minnows in the shallow area.

We headed home from the Lake on Saturday night, so that T.J. could speak on Sunday, for week #2 in our series at Macedonia entitled "Just Walk Across the Room".Sunday night we had 2 of my nieces over for a sleepover and took them to our family Memorial Day Celebration at my parents, where they enjoyed swimming and eating with all of their cousins.

Thank you, Lord, for the people who have served our country for these freedoms we enjoy. Thank you, most of all for sacrificing your Son so we can live completely free in you. :)
