In the Fall Mood....
After returning from our cruise, I decided it was finally time to let go of summer and embrace fall! I love fall, I just miss the cooler weather and the changing leaves up north. We have a few colorful leaves around and several homes with fall decor, but it's not exactly like it was where I grew up in Indiana. Nonetheless, I make fall happen in our home each year and my girls enjoy it too! Friday morning, the girls did not have school so we pulled out our 'apple peeler/corer/slicer' and made the old pampered chef apple danish braid. It was yummy!! Saturday morning, Dacey got up early, so she and I went on a very nice walk together. When we got home, we made breakfast and heated up some left over apple danish. Over the rest of the weekend, I slowly put out some decorations, which was just in time for the women's Bible study I began hosting here on Monday evening. We are doing a study by Kay Arthur titled "Lord, teach me to Pray". I was excited to have 14 ladies attend, and we began to build relationships even the first night. I look forward to learning more about communicating with God on a deeper level and would love to have others praying over this study...if you would be so kind! :) Happy Fall to all of you!

Happy fall to you too! Your decorations look so cute.
Looks so cute and cozy! I love decorating for fall even more than Christmas. The apple braid looks so yummy!
makes me feel all cozy inside seeing the pictures of your house and of you girls making that apple dessert thing. yummy! our family just got back this evening from our school's Fall Family Fun Night. We had a good time.
Also wanted to let you know that I left a comment on TJ's blog about the video link he posted. Just interesting to know that Johnny and I were still attending GCC when he made those comments. hmmm...
Fall is fabulous and I love the seasonal look in your home. It's too bad I don't see a bunch of snuggly quilts around, though. Do you know anyone that makes them?
